Duluth East Squeezes By Cambridge-IsantiDespite outshooting the Bluejackets 52-21, the Duluth East Greyhounds barely squeezed by Cambridge-Isanti in a game that went into overtime. The Bluejackets scored twice before Brian Bunten, a 5-10 junior, could help the Greyhounds rally back in the third period. Senior Philip Beaulieu scored under two minutes later to tie the game, sending it into overtime. Bunten ended the game as the hero, scoring the OT goal 5:26 into the extra period, giving Duluth East their first victory of the year. Bunten and Beaulieu finished the game with 3 points each, while Nick Altmann's 2 assists allowed him to record multiple points as well. Both Gunnar Howg and Lucas Hedin split time between the pipes for the Greyhounds, each giving up a goal, but Howg was the decided winner as he saw one more shot than Hedin.
